OFSAA BOYS VOLLEYBALL – DRYDEN, ONTARIO NOVEMBER 23-25, 2006

 

Ground transportation is required by teams on a local basis as venues for games are up to 25 minutes from hotel locations. If flying into Thunder Bay or Winnipeg - Dryden is 355 km/222 miles one way from Thunder Bay and 364 km/226 miles one way from Winnipeg.

 

Class F Bus Driver License is required if placing more than 11 passengers (including the driver) into any vehicle in Ontario. A 15-passenger van with back seat removed can be rented with maximum 11 people including driver with Class G license only.

Class 4 - F Bus/Taxi Driver License is required if placing more than 7 passengers (including the driver) into any vehicle in Manitoba.

Renters must be 25 years of age and in possession of a major credit in their own name with sufficient limit for the entire anticipated rental cost and a possible hold by the car rental vendor.

 

Maximum vehicle size offered by car vendors is 7-passenger mini vans unless stated otherwise.

Loss Damage Waiver are about $ 23.95 per day average with a $750.00 deductible and Personal Accident Insurance about $ 3.00 per day

If returning after hours via a key drop you are held responsible for vehicle until inspected Monday morning.

Manitoba sales tax is 13% for PST and GST on top of all rentals. Tax recovery is charged at $ 1.78 per day additional. Airport pick-up licensing fee is 13% additional on all rentals. Average cost for additional insurance is: Loss Damage Waiver about $ 28.99 per day with zero deductible and Personal Accident Insurance about $ 5.99/day.
